The Behavioral Health Committee advocates for complete development of a statewide, comprehensive, community-based behavioral health system. In its work, the committee responds to issues of community behavioral health centers, and links the Association’s efforts with state and federal policy-makers to resolve service barriers for people with mental illness and substance abuse problems.
