Our Board

The Board of Directors, in 1987, changed their structure to give more responsibility to the committees of the Association. In addition to the role committees play in the discussion of selected topics and the development of recommended positions, they also provide grassroots input into the development of legislative agendas, membership recruitment efforts and training.

The committees of IARF are the "inner workings of the organization." They are what keep the organization active. We are especially proud of the fact that on the average, at least 89% of our members have active representation on at least one of the Association's committees.

You can rely on these working groups, just as you can rely on the leadership of the Board of Directors. They will guide the organization and move human services forward.
