Illinois Association of Rehabilitation Facilities (IARF) is the trade association for community agencies in Illinois. Our members serve persons with intellectual, developmental, physical and other disabilities and persons with mental illnesses.

We know that community agencies are dependent upon state funds to continue supporting people with disabilities and mental illnesses in Illinois. One of our greatest opportunities is advocating with and on behalf of our members to ensure adequate funding for community services and appropriate public policy so that people with disabilities have access to the supports and services they need.

In addition to working with the Illinois Legislature, IARF works closely with the Department of Human Services, the Department of Healthcare and Family Services, the Department of Children & Family Services, and the Department of Public Health. Our representation of over 80 community organizations providing services and supports in more than 900 communities statewide offers members a strong voice in government. IARF also works on issues of concern to individual members.
