Behavioral Learning Series – Specialized Behavioral Support Training for QIDPs and DSPs – FREE to IARF Members!
For several years IARF members have shared they’ve seen an increasing number of individuals in community-based services struggling with behavioral support needs. The following limitations prevent service providers from better addressing the needs of an individual experiencing a behavioral health crisis:
In this environment, providers need resources and/or forms of training to help individuals with behavioral support needs where they are.
The Behavioral Learning Series represents a partnership with the training team at Goldie B. Floberg Center in Rockton, IL and IARF aimed at providing member QIDPs and DSPs with the knowledge and skills of ABA needed to effectively help people with significant behavioral support needs.

Who is the Behavior Learning Series for again?
QIDPs and DSPs working in your agency are eligible to participate in this training series. Each cohort has 24 slots available, so we must be mindful of the number of individuals each agency may wish to send through each cohort. QIDPs attending the entire series are eligible for up to 45 hours of CE credit!
The Behavior Learning Series looks AMAZING – How much is the Cost?
The Behavior Learning Series is FREE of charge and is a part of the dues you pay to IARF! A small fee per individual may be required to cover lunches.
How do we sign our team members up!
Registration for each cohort will run through February 27th. Take the following link to register your team members ASAP before the cohorts fill up!
- providers can’t afford the costs of having a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCABA) in every group home;
- maintaining Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) status is difficult without the ability to maintain required supervision;
- we lack a sufficient number of regionally available crisis beds in Illinois.
