Working in busy emergency rooms, our founding doctors were alarmed by the inadequacy of care for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD). Gaps in services drove them to the ER for simple and complex issues alike. The traumatic experience and suboptimal care inspired these doctors to find a better way to deliver care to those in this population.
Since the founding of StationMD in 2016, we have grown to provide services to over 45,000 individuals across 22 states. We are proud to be at the forefront of a revolutionary improvement in care for this population.
